Workplace
What is the workplace like?
Our workplace is a fast-paced, production oriented environment. Safety is very important.
Workers must adhere to a dress code.
All shifts are 8 hours with 2 - 20 minute breaks (except CA).
Our work areas are highly automated with fork lifts and other lift equipment driving around, cranes operating behind some workstations, many buildings also have some automated vehicles and miles of belts conveying product to different parts of the building.
Easy to access
Our newest centers (Anderson and Connecticut) go beyond ADA standards; they reflect advice from disability consultants. Some examples:
- a locker room with added benches, lower lockers and lock alternatives;
- some bathroom stalls big enough for a personal aide;
- Elevators and ramps reach most areas within the building.
