What is the workplace like?

We are a union facility that is bound by our contract with regard to hours of work, employment status (full or part time) and hireing processes. In addition, we are a full-case facility which requires heavy lifting and is physically demanding.

What is a typical day?

A typical day includes, clocking in, storing personal items in locker, attending departmental meeting at the beginning of each shift. On some days, you can be assigned to temporarily work in another department to help them out, this can last for a few hours or a few days.

Who will I work with?

If you join our center, you will work on a team. People with disabilities and people without disabilities will work together.

Our staff and managers get disability awareness training.

Work rules

The following work rules apply at the distribution center.  However, exceptions can be made on an individual basis if needed to accommodate a person's disability.

  • The jobs are full-time. 
  • The center will run three shifts.  Team members may work the day, evening, or night shift. 
  • Team members must work overtime sometimes.
