What is the workplace like?
Our distribution center was built in 1981 and offers a strong work ethic and loyal staff employing over 1000 people on multiple shifts.
What is a typical day?
A typical day includes, clocking in, storing personal items in locker, attending departmental meeting at the beginning of each shift. On some days, you can be assigned to temporarily work in another department to help them out, this can last for a few hours or a few days.
Who will I work with?
If you join our center, you will work on a team. People with disabilities and people without disabilities will work together.
Our staff and managers get disability awareness training.
Things you should know about the work
- All team members must meet performance standards.
- The work is fast-paced and must be done right.
Work rules
The following work rules apply at the distribution center. However, exceptions can be made on an individual basis if needed to accommodate a person's disability.
- The jobs are full-time.
- The center will run three shifts. Team members may work the day, evening, or night shift.
- Team members must work overtime sometimes.
